Imposing interior, but visit the museum too

点评：By pure chance we also visited the Duomo di Napoli, or Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta, or Cattedrale di San Gennaro ... However, to clarify at least a little, it is the most important church of the city, in fact, the Cathedral of Naples, the seat of the Archbishop of Naples – the palace that is his residence is practically next to the cathedral.
I say by pure chance because it was on the list, but in the end a little bit. I had another church planned and I would have entered the Duomo di Napoli if I still had time that day. It had started to rain and when I arrived in front of the Cathedral, I decided to go inside to take shelter from the rain. I sat down on a bench and started researching the area on the net, with my phone. That's how I realized where I am.
The interior of the Cathedral is imposing and beautifully adorned with works of art, paintings, sculptures with religious subjects and specific furniture. There is also a museum that is worth visiting for the beauty of the objects on display. I also took an audio-guide, but I gave it up after sitting and listening to the explanations for about 15 minutes just in front of an exhibit.
