CHAMPAGNE Bliard-Labeste的点评
点评：This was a fantastic experience from start to finish .
It was absolutely amazing.
Florian picked us up in a funky VW camper . The transport along with Florian’s warm laid back friendliness got us off to a great start and set the tone for the trip . We were excited .
We were not disappointed.
The tour of the Maison de Champagne was delightful . The chalk cellar caves were atmospheric and almost entrancing . The history they contained seeped out of the walls .
Florian explained about the whole process of making champagne from vine to bottle , whilst we walked through all the production points . We saw the team at work in several areas .
Florian was very interesting, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, he kept us captivated throughout the tour. Every member of the team we came across whist they were working, acknowledged us with a hearty bonjour.
If all that was not enough, Florian drove us to the vineyard . It was beautiful and spectacular , there was something ethereal about the location. We stopped at a marvellous spot for a tasting of their Brut Premier Cru , at a glade overlooking the vineyard . The location was perfect to enjoy a really lovely champagne .
Florian showed to us how the vines were tended and explained why.
We were then driven into the lovely Hautvillers village . Where we enjoyed a tasting of the
Bliard -Labeste vintage champagne . A truly beautiful champagne .
The tour was just for the four of us . It encompassed an amazing place of production and a beautiful vineyard . It was never rushed it felt truly personal and did not feel like a “ conveyor belt tour” .
I know that the place / setting and the champagne are meant to be the main attraction and all were amazing . Florian and his passion was the icing on the cake .
