点评:First of all, the picture shown as the "Temple of Apollo" on this entry actually shows the Tholos of the Temple of Athena Pronaia, which is free to visit (though closed at present), and outwith the main (paid for) site of the Sanctuary of Apollo etc.
So, the main Delphi site consists of archaeological ruins, and a smalll-ish museum.
Having been round both, I don't think going to the museum first rather than second would make any difference to your appreciation of the site, but that's my subjective opinion.
I enjoyed the whole site immensely. From the stadium right at the top of the site, down to the Treasuries on the walk in towards the Temple of Apollo and so on, it's all good.
This is definitely not a disabled friendly site - there's a lot of trekking up and down stone steps to get to different parts of the site.
It's very easy to rush through the site, snap a few photos, and go "yeah, done Delphi", however if you stop, and read, and try to feel the energy of the place, then you'll be well rewarded. When you reach the stadium at the top of the site, there are benches under some trees providing a respite from the sun and heat!
Lots of history here, lots of mythology, lots of archaeology. The centre of the Classical World is entirely worth reading up on, and spending time in.
