A large park with lots to do and easy beach access conveniently located across from the Hilton Garden Inn

点评：What a cool park! Wow, so much to say! We were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn directly across the street from the park and beach. We were staying in one of their cottages so the 2 parks were right below us, literally right out our back slider! One is very new looking, with astoturf, lots of fun things for the kids including a tea cups type ride, wow! And there is also a wooden park right next door that looks pretty old and beat up, but don’t let that fool you! It’s well maintained, the wood has been treated so you won’t get tons of splinters and it’s actually a super fun maze of things to do! It’s definitely geared toward older kids whereas the newer park is more for younger kids. My 10 year old enjoyed them both!
And the beach was just across the street from there! The park is huge! There are multiple parking areas (for free), multiple parks, areas with sheltered picnic tables, bathrooms, and of course, the beach! A wonderful protected area to swim or let the kids out too! The entire area is well maintained and exceptionally clean!! We even saw them cleaning both parks in the morning before we went down to play!
Yes the beach has been a bit beat up from the storms so there are some portions of the beach that are less swimmable. But it’s super spread out and I loved the gorgeous sunsets!
