点评：Hanazono is a great resort option when considering staying at Niseko United.
Hanazono’s slope offering is good for intermediates, as the vast majority of the runs are red. Many runs, regardless of difficulty, have tedious flat bits. There is only one advanced slope here but the backcountry of Strawberry fields makes up for that. Regarding green slopes, they are almost annoyingly flat and therefore good for first-timers, but in between first-timer difficulty and standard intermediate difficulty there is not much on offer.
Hanazono’s lift infastructure is the best in Niseko, and queues will rarely exceed 5 minutes. All the lifts are high speed rather than fixed grip, which really makes a difference with increasing skiing time. Three of the four lifts have covers, and two lifts: Hana 1 and the gondola, are super luxurious with padded and heated seats. The modern lifts handle bad weather well.
Due to its geographical orientation, hanazono has the best snow quality in niseko, and it’s evident when you ski there. On groomed trails there are nice off-piste sections at the side and the groomed middles usually have a light and satisfying powder layer on top. Additionally, hanazono seems be affected the least by windy conditions.
Hanazono consists of 2 ski in ski out hotel options, park Hyatt and Nikko Style, and they suit high budgets, especially park Hyatt. If you don’t want to be paying park Hyatt restaurant prices there’s few nightlife dining options in Hanazono. So if you want good apres ski and are staying in Hanazono, you may have to use the bus or get a rental car.
