Private tour from Greenock cruise terminal across Scottish countryside.

点评：We had a private tour where we could choose our own itinerary. Our driver and guide Aliseiar, listened to what we were most interested in and then suggested a route to where we could see the most things and still make it back to our cruise ship prior to departure.
We first went and saw and pet the Highland Cows at Hamish. There was a crowd, but Aliseiar purchased some food for the cows and drew them over to us away from the crowd. We got to pet them and get some great pictures.
Then we headed to Doune Castle where part of Monty Python was filmed.
Then did a quick trip over to Stirling Castle. Saw quite a bit from the outside, but did not take the longer interior tour.
Then headed over to the William Wallace monument. I climbed to the top and the views were amazing. Getting to see William Wallace’s sword was worth the climb itself.
Then we did a quick drive by of the Kelpies. They were larger than expected.
Then over to Lock Lomond. Was a beautiful sunny day with lots of people on the beach. Had a quick lunch at the Coach House Coffee Shop. I had the Haggis and was very pleasantly surprised at how good it was.
Then we ended the day with a drive up to Lyle Hill overlooking the town. Amazing view.
We made the most of every minute and covered all the sites we wanted to see.
