The Henry Parkes Centre的点评
点评：A great collection of historical memorabilia from the local area - makes you feel old when items you grew up seeing are now found in a museum!! The displays both indoors and outside are well worth spending a few hours browsing through and the volunteers who run it are definitely deserving of a big shout-out.
The information on Henry Parkes was very informative and the reconstruction of his family home was well done. The attached theatrette with the movie (on loop) about his life and Australia's political beginnings, is certainly worth watching.
The Elvis display, The King's Castle, is worth a look too - an interesting collection of copies and originals of The King's life and definitely a little gem in the small country town.
The Parkes Motor Museum is a credit to it's members and is an impressive display of both cars and motorcycles representing a wide range of years of automotive history.
