A great crew and a great location for diving near Portsmouth!

点评：I had scheduled two two-tank dives for my wife and snorkeling for our two boys in late June, 2023. Due to tropical storm Bret, we had to cancel our second day of diving, which was nobody’s fault - totally appropriate given the storm. There was no penalty for the cancelled reservation.
From the time we made reservations to dive day, communication via WhatsApp was excellent - we had to adjust our plans on the fly to dodge the storm, and Jorge made it work. I had some difficulty with my own personal equipment malfunctioning, but Jorge had extra equipment ready, so things went relatively smoothly.
Both dives were shore dives off the pier at Fort Shirley (up to 60-70 feet deep). Parking, the dive shop, and the pier are all easy walking distance. Donna was a great guide, and there is a huge variety of fish and coral to see right off the pier.
Our two boys (12 and 9) snorkeled around the pier under Jorge’s supervision and had a blast. Donna and Jorge are both great to be around.
I highly recommend JC Ocean Adventures; I would absolutely dive with them again.
