Phantom Creek Estates的点评
点评：This winery came highly recommended, and as big wine lovers, we were excited to book the Estate Tour & Tasting. The wine itself was excellent - hence the 3 stars - but the overall experience was pretty disappointing.
The guide focused obsessively on how much everything cost (the $60M building, six-figure sculptures, imported barrels), rather than offering any insight of substance. During the tasting, all three whites were poured at once despite the heat, and again, there was little discussion of the wines - he just repeated price points and kept reminding us of the 15% discount on some bottles. (Spoiler: we didn’t buy any, even though we would usually purchase several to take home!)
We’d hoped to enjoy a charcuterie plate and stay for a glass with the view, but were told there was no food left to purchase. Not sure if that’s typical but it seems wrong to close up the kitchen early when you have pre-booked tastings. We were offered 4 crackers “for free” and not even asked if we wanted to order wine. When we asked for local restaurant suggestions, our guide (a 5-year employee!) couldn’t name even one - and after asking a colleague, they came up with Boston Pizza. 😂💡
Overall, we felt a bit judged, undervalued and just disappointed that it was not what we expected.
We left hungry and a bit annoyed, but ended up having a fantastic tasting and dinner at Nk’Mip Cellars, where the service was much better.
Unless you’re here to admire the price tag of the place, I’d skip Phantom Creek and head to Nk’Mip instead.

我们饿着肚子离开，也有点恼火，但最终在Nk’Mip Cellars享受了一场美味的品尝和晚餐，那里的服务要好得多。
除非你是来欣赏这里物美价廉的，否则我建议你放弃Phantom Creek，直接去Nk’Mip。
