Old Thorns Spa的点评
点评：We had a really lovely stay at the old thorns hotel, and after a stressful week my boyfriend treated us both to a small treatment each. They’re described as 25 minute massages and I had a drift away massage and he had an ‘ahh massage’ which was a feet and legs one.
It was so disappointing. His was booked for 4.30. He was seen at 4.34 and on the bed, she then walked out for a few minutes before coming back in and his massage started 4.38 and then he was out the room by 4.56 which is 18 minutes (more like 17 as he finished a minute before and had to get shoes back on) so not the 25 as described.
He came back out. And because of this we thought we would screen shot the time it starts and time it finishes. My massage was 5.30, she was running late and I was seen 5.38, she then left the room for me to get undressed and it was 5.42 before she came back and started. She stopped my massage at 5.52 washed her hands for 5 mins and then said she gave me and extra 5 mins because she was late and I was out the door at 5.58
A massage of 10 minutes. We’re paying £70 per massage to receive a fraction of the time described. In the description it says to arrive 15 mins early to fill out the documents. This 15 minutes should be the time for them to do what they need to do so that come to the massage we are getting the 25 minutes we pay for. So for us, this was very disappointing. It’s not exactly cheap. But feel very cheated of £140 for the sake of 27 minutes instead of the 2x 25 minutes we were supposed to have. I don’t personally recommend it. Don’t get me wrong; they’re talented and we enjoyed it. I just don’t think the times are fair for what they advertise and what you get.
