Caves, a fun outing on a hot day, learning history!

点评：This is a fun outing for a family or anyone wanting to see some history. Plan to walk a lot and do many stairs so make sure everyone is capable of doing this for about 1.5 - 2 hours. Bring layers as it gets cold inside and you will want a jacket. It is okay if they don't speak English as they have a printout of exactly what they say but there are guides that speak English you just need to make sure to go during that tour. We were recommended to see a guide whose name was Noemie as the reviews of her were AMAZING. She was answering questions and giving a great tour. Unfortunately, she is no longer there (HIRE HER BACK PLEASE). We did have a sweet girl to take us through the tour but we must say it is not organized at the ticket office at all. We arrived to go to the first tour at 10 am but they suggested we wait till 10:30 to get an English guide. They are very late with the shuttle and just seem unorganized on many levels. Very scattered. Then after waiting an extra hour to go on the later tour with an English guide we were told once up at the cave that she would not do it in English. The group was very large with all levels of people so even though our guide was great (she did end up translating in English) we had to wait many times for the people (mostly children and their parents lagging behind). If organized better they could have smaller groups, some with different levels of abilities so that some tours can go through quicker versus the ones that take a bit longer. For the amount of money it cost per person I think it can be better organized. Again, guides like this lady Noemie would be an asset as she seemed to know the caves very well and made the tour very interesting. HIRE HER AGAIN! Overall, a fun outing.
