Tiger sharks, safety, sustainability, and the best dive team

点评：Had a fabulous time with Pelagic Divers.
Communication was very smooth — everything was well-organized, from domestic flights and hotel bookings to daily pick-ups.
We dived with them for 5 days (15 dives total), and from the very first moment, it was clear that safety is their top priority. I always felt safe and well looked after. The entire crew is local, incredibly professional, and so much fun to be around.
What I especially appreciated is their sustainable approach to diving at Tiger Harbour. Different dive schools are scheduled in separate time slots, so there are never too many divers in the water at once.
We were in the best hands with Pelagic Divers. Being surrounded by these beautiful sharks was always a calm, peaceful experience, the best part of the day. The sharks are gentle and truly admirable.
Of course, the tiger sharks are the highlight of diving here, but beyond that, we also encountered thresher sharks, hammerheads, reef sharks, and eagle rays. The reef is stunning — healthy, colorful, and full of life.
We visited during low season, and it was absolutely worth it. The visibility was fantastic, and with fewer divers around, every dive felt more intimate.
The island is absolutely beautiful — authentic, untouched, and impossible not to fall in love with. It has a laid-back, slowed-down vibe with delicious food, beautiful beaches, and super friendly, welcoming locals.
This is hands down my favorite place I’ve ever been, and there’s no question — I’ll be diving with Pelagic Divers again when I return.
