A Truly Unforgettable Experience with Amila – Highly Recommended!

点评：We had the most incredible time with Amila, our diving and snorkelling instructor at International Diving School, Trincomalee. My 15-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter (both born in the UK and not fluent in Sinhala) went diving with him, and from the very start, Amila made them feel completely at ease. His English is excellent, and he explained everything so clearly that the kids understood every step and felt confident throughout. They had a fun, safe, and thoroughly enjoyable diving experience thanks to him.
Later, all three of us went snorkelling with Amila. While my kids are good swimmers, I am not — in fact, I can’t swim at all and was absolutely terrified. But Amila was so calm and reassuring. He patiently guided me, taught me how to breathe using the snorkel, and stayed by my side the entire time.
Thanks to his care and encouragement, I was able to experience something I never thought possible — seeing sharks, turtles, and so many colourful fish up close in their natural habitat. Without Amila, I would have missed out on the breathtaking beauty beneath the surface. His kindness, professionalism, and dedication truly made this a once-in-a-lifetime memory for me.
The entire team at International Diving School was fantastic — from helping us carry our bags to making sure we were comfortable throughout. The service was excellent and 100% worth the money.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and patient instructor — especially if you’re nervous or can’t swim — Amila is the one to go to. We can’t recommend him and the team highly enough!
