点评:Dinosaur Footprints reservation is an interesting and different kind of outing. Parking is easy. To see the dinosaur tracks you need to walk on a short trail that parallels Route 5, instead of going down to the river. The trail leads to stone slabs where the footprints are visible. It's amazing to imagine that this was once a tropical area where dinosaurs roamed, and even more incredible that the tracks have not been eroded in the millions of years since then. If you do go down to the river that's a beautiful spot too, with stone slabs in the water and beautiful views of the Connecticut River. The visit is quick, you wouldn't spend more than 45 minutes to an hour here, unless you wanted to linger by the river. And the entire experience is free of charge! The drawbacks is that signage could be improved and that plenty of litterbugs have left trash lying around. There aren't any trash cans, but people need to understand that when that's the case, you carry your trash out with you.
