点评:e visited Sri Lanka for 27 days in January.
We just wanted to rest and relax by the beach in good 4 star, frontline properties.
To ensure we got the best properties, we engaged DinilGo.
Over a few months we worked with Melanie who was very helpful.
When we got a list of the hotels, the first two hotels met our specifications. When Melanie presented us the hotels we told her that Tartaruga had mixed reviews and we were not sure of it! She guaranteed us 101% we would love it!
The trouble arose when we moved to the third hotel.
Tartaruga at Unawatuna.
We got a shock. It was not even a 2 star hotel. We refused to check in and told Melanie and Damith they had to find us a proper hotel. After a lot of haggling and stress, they sent us to another hotel which was not appropriate.
Fortunately when we called the manager Dilina Mendis at Thaala Bentota, which was the 2nd hotel we stayed at, and he welcomed us back.
He accommodated us and made us feel comfortable. And we were able to complete our holiday in comfort at Thaala.
At the end of the day, I would never recommend DinilGo to any visitors to Sri Lanka. Damith put all the blame on Melanie and ended firing her. He needed to take more responsibility. We ended up paying another 600USD , to an already expensive holiday.
When we asked for 4 star hotels, Melanie squeezed in a 2 star hotel, for a 13 day period!!
This is fraud and not acceptable.
