点评:This is for November (Sunday).
Unlike other Jyotirlings in Maharashtra, here you cannot see the arti. Which means that the gates open after 5.30 and not 4.45 like in other places.
I had taken the donation darshan ticket online and got into the line at 4.30 (thinking the gates would open at 5).
Entry to the mandir was a hassle as people tried to enter without being in line (I was 6th in line when the line started, but around 30th to enter). The management was rude towards people who had been standing there for an hour. If you knew the security or pandit, you could enter easily. Anyways, that's what happens in temple.
Once inside, you go through serpentine lines. Good thing about this queue space was there was space for people to sit while the line moved slowly. Then the lines merge.
You first enter Nandi jis temple, and then the main temple.
The darshan was as good as it could be. Couple of things did annoy me. People were taking pictures, inside the temple even when it was not allowed, and people were sitting inside, making it difficult for people to enter. In both cases the management didn't bother to do any thing.
Unlike many other Jyotirlings, you cannot enter the garbh here. So you watch from outside. There were some poojas going on, on space just before the garbh, but I didn't enquire about it.
So I was out in 20 minutes (1 hour 20 minutes if you consider time spent standing outside the temple, waiting for gates to open). When I came out, the queue was empty, and people could enter easily. So I am guessing if someone reached the temple at 5.50 they would have to spend 30-45 minutes overall.
I came for arti, but couldn't see it here.
