点评:We came here as it was a recommendation from my daughter who has been before. There are so many places to choose from in Phuket but this is the most ethical and it truly felt they were doing this for the rescue of the elephants not just another way of making money out of them.
We did the short 90min visit at 0900. They start off with a guide advising you of the experience, introducing you to the other guide and showing a short video on what the elephants go through at other ‘sanctuaries’. We loved this one as it’s no touch, no hand feeding but we still had a great encounter with 4 of the 6 elephants they have rescued.
The guide Joy was very helpful explaining on how each elephant was rescued, when and described their personalities etc.
We prepared breakfast for the elephants and were able to go and feed them but not by hand. We watched them in their natural environment and could have photos taken with them depending on their body language and advice from the guide.
Bug spray is provided, toilets, cafe and shop onsite also. Some walking uphill involved but no one is rushed.
