Not as shown in the photos - tired and needs some TLC

点评：Last time we came to Japan I saw the spa and I wanted to visit but we did not have the time. This time we did have the time however the photos shown are not entirely accurate and the spa is dated.
Photos:
- The onsen/ bath in particular the photos here show you can look straight out on to the ocean. Short story - you can’t as the bottom 1/3 of the windows as a frosted film stuck on to it so you can’t see anything.
- The photos are old and not current.
The good:
- The staff are friendly and speak english conversationally plus they also have a translating device plus the instructions are in english as well.
- The staff were very patient and make sure you understand everything.
- You can hire a wide variety of swimwear
- You can hire towels
- The onsen area has three pools of different temperature, a cold plunge pool and a sauna.
Needs improvement:
- There were a lot of mineral marks around the bath tubs edges. Looked like they had not been wiped down/ deep cleaned in a while.
- All the doors around the pool areas are rusty and damaged.
- The spa ceiling looks like it has a plant or mould growing on it.
- A sun bed costs extra
- The whole place is very tired and needs some TLC /a refresh. When it opened it was clearly a 5 star facility however now it feels more like 3 star.
- There where multiple areas which where damaged and taped off.
