Pros n cons - avoid daytime half term!

点评：Pros- it’s great to learn to ski here from what I can see. Learning in real snow is obviously a lot easier than dry ski. As a skier it was very much the same as skiing on real snow, including some little icy patches.
Cons- where to start …
Arrive at least 45mins to 1hr early to get your hire stuff! We went in half term and the lines moved slowly.
Skiing - If it’s quiet you get a great experience. If it’s busy you spend most of your time getting agitated waiting in three disorderly lines for the button lift where there are people cutting in line wherever possible especially kids. The queue system definitely needs attending to. One line - not three - for one lift should be the deal. It’s not- it’s 3 lines expecting others to let you in from each line whilst more join from the side cutting in.
All this waiting caused me to start to feel cold. It’s cold in there - but skiing can make you hot - thing is you don’t get much skiing done if it’s busy. It’s mainly standing in line watching people cut in not giving a damn about people who are waiting their turn.
It can be quite repetitive for the short slope it is.
But, it’s worth it if you’re getting some skiing done then get a coffee break. We got all day tickets so taking a break was nice. Food is delicious but very pricey! £4.50 for a cappuccino! £7 for fries as a side! My two kids went off and ordered a burger, a Caesar salad with fries and two cokes. This came to around £37!
Best time to ski - the afternoon was way more quiet after 3pm. So we went in half term- and if we went again I’d choose to arrive after 3pm.

不过，如果你滑了一会儿雪，那就值得去喝杯咖啡休息一下。我们买了全天票，所以休息一下很舒服。食物很美味，但是非常贵！一杯卡布奇诺要4.5英镑！一份薯条要7英镑！我的两个孩子点了一个汉堡、一份凯撒沙拉配薯条和两杯可乐。总共花了大约37英镑！
最佳滑雪时间——下午3点以后人就少多了。所以我们是在学校放假的时候去的——如果再去的话，我会选择下午3点以后到。
