点评:This is a monument because of it's important history in reference to the Oregon Trail of pioneer days in the mid to late 1800's. You can see the bluff in question even from a distance. It was a landmark for pioneers. The visitors center opens at 8 a.m., but the road up to the bluff doesn't open until 9 a.m. They have to check it for rock debris each day. It was disappointing that I didn't have the time to wait until 9. I had a long day ahead of me. But the visitors center is quite informative and interesting. If you have kids, they might also enjoy seeing all the rabbits just outside the center in the early morning.
In addition to the visitors center, there are hiking trails and overlooks at the end of short walks.
Friendly and well informed staff. Glad I stopped. And being off the beaten path, you will probable enjoy the lack of crowds.

除了游客中心外,还有徒步小径,走不了多远就能到达观景台。
工作人员热情又知识渊博。很高兴我选择了在这里停留。由于这里算是个僻静之地,你大概率也会喜欢这种没有人群的宁静氛围。
