Wonderful beaches and outrageously expensive after COVID

点评：Still wonderful and empty beaches, However, the prices for restaurants and foods have gone up tremendously since our last visit in April 2019. A modest one course meal sets you back about 60.- Euro/person. Food prices, even local fruits, are double or more than in Europe. There is no organised market for fish!!!
We were not able to charter a small boat for ourselves, only group hire available for 50.- Euro/person for a 15 minute trip to an island.
The weather beginning of October had been excellent (no more than 28 centigrade), but the underwater visibility is not suitable for underwater photography. It's better in April. In any case, Praslin is not very good for diving if you want to see larger fish or dive deeper than 15 meters. If you do not want to join a large group of divers, a personal dive with a dive master will cost you 240,- Euro for two dives (plus equipment rent?).
