点评：If you like curvy narrow mountain roads this is the trip is a must do for you. This was my third motorcycle tour with Edelweiss and like the previous tours we've done with them, they did not in the least disappoint. The Atlantic Extreme trip on Grand Canary and neighboring islands provides NO chase van. You must carry all your gear with you as the trip progresses through destinations. We were told we will experience high mountain roads, blind tight corners, steep roads and approximately 7500 turns! The accommodation included were excellent and the food choices were good. The scenery on this tour is mostly volcanic much like Hawaii and at times we were actually riding above the clouds. Our Edelweiss tour guide kept the pace of the ride on the thrilling side and as such I would recommend this tour for only really experienced riders with good lane keeping skills. Our guide had good knowledge of the island history and shared that with us during ferry rides and coffee stops. My best recommendation for this tour is a light nimble motorcycle. You will seldom get into 5th or 6th gear. The local ATM's do not have favorable exchange rates. When using your credit card select Euro's as your bank will give you a far better exchange rate. The ferry rides between islands can cause the ship to roll a bit. I highly recommend this tour for advance riders as it does not disappoint.
