Fantastic mountain with many different activities for the whole family

点评：Hexenwasser is one of the top mountains that we visited in Austria (we've been to quite a few). Here there are so many activities and of course the witches make everything even more interactive.
The playgrounds are amazing, with various elements to explore - water play in many different forms, there's a fire pit where you can make your own bread on a stick, you can learn about nature in a fun way, explore a bee hive, and much much more. There is a long trail with many stations, and there are witches at several points who tell stories or just interact with visitors. All the staff were so enthusiastic and made the whole experience magical.
The food at the top of the mountain is excellent - we came here 3 different times during summer of 2025, and ate at a different restaurant each time - and everything was delicious. Also the home-made ice creams by the bee-hive station are highly recommended.
On specific days in the summer they organise "Donnersnacht" with special activities in late evening, however, these are weather-dependent. We planned to visit on one night, but unfortunately the event was cancelled last-minute due to bad weather forecast. If you're planning to do this, just make sure you check all the updates on their website and social media before you set off.
There is a large car park at the bottom of the gondola, so it's really easy to get here by car.
Overall a fantastic day out, suitable to all ages.
