Had a good holiday but not the hard sell and the rudeness of the guide.

点评：What I want to say has all been said before and I wish I’d read tripadvisor before I left. Basically we had a good holiday - the flights were on time and it was well organised. It was cheap - we didn’t expect much - but it was the behaviour of our guide which really annoyed us. He was incredibly unprofessional talking about his divorce and trying to get custody of his son. Then he said his sister was dead and his mum was distraught having lost her only daughter. The next day he said his sister was a nurse, then he said he’d 2 sisters. He told us he’d never been out of the country but he’s been to Istanbul,Poland, Holland. You get the picture!
The guide named and shamed 2 women in our party - so much so one woman was in tears.
The hard sell was unbearable. AND you have to go! The coach left at 7.20am on a Sunday to drive to a Jewellers offering us wine at 8am. Presumably to lessen the impact of the Sell. Leather shop next - the retailers there were SO rude. Then the rugs. Basically a full day out of the holiday.
There were things that the guide should have taken us to and he just said “it’s free time” and went for a coffee and another fag!
Would I go again? Not to Cyprus but several people have said that other tours were great. So maybe.

导游还当着我们团里两位女士的面羞辱她们——其中一位甚至被气哭了。
推销简直让人无法忍受。而且你还得去！周日早上7点20分，大巴就出发去一家珠宝店，8点钟就给我们提供葡萄酒。大概是为了减轻推销的影响吧。接下来是皮革店——那里的店员态度极其恶劣。然后是地毯店。基本上，整个假期都浪费在那儿了。
有些地方导游本应该带我们去的，但他却说“自由活动时间”，然后就去喝咖啡抽烟了！
我会再去吗？不会再去塞浦路斯了，不过好几个人都说其他旅行团很棒。所以也许会吧。
