点评：We had a truly memorable experience with this Unique Zanzibar tour company, which took us on a Spice Tour, a sunset dhow cruise, and a trip to the stunning Nakupenda sandbank. Our guide, Aziza, and our driver, Mohammed, were fantastic — without them, navigating the local scene can be overwhelming, as some vendors can be quite pushy. They ensured everything ran smoothly and comfortably, allowing us to simply enjoy the experience.
The Spice Tour was a real highlight. The local guide at the spice farm was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly entertaining. He crafted beautiful crowns, bracelets, and bags from leaves, which sadly couldn’t be brought home due to customs regulations. Be prepared — the locals at the farm can be persistent when it comes to selling spices or asking for tips, so bring cash and expect some pressure.
The sunset dhow cruise had a lively atmosphere, with the crew singing and drumming enthusiastically. While this can be joyful for some, we found it a bit too noisy and crowded, which made it less relaxing. It can also get chilly and wet, so bring something warm and waterproof. Boarding the boat can be tricky, so it might not be suitable for elderly travelers or those with mobility issues.
Nakupenda sandbank was absolutely breathtaking. The team went above and beyond — setting up a shaded shelter and preparing a delicious seafood feast, including crayfish, prawns, squid, and chips, all with minimal resources. Their skill and effort were remarkable. Please tip generously — they truly deserve it for the incredible service and hard work.
