点评：My boyfriend LOVES surfing here and so the first time I came to sunbathe on the beach I had an awful experience.
The lady’s selling bracelets and coconuts are so aggressive they actually appear scary. 3 of them wouldn’t leave me alone for 10 minutes and kept grabbing my arm every time I said “no, no”. I ended up buying a coconut from one of them as I was dripping with sweat as I mistakenly didn’t bring near enough water.
After she cut the coconut I realised I didn’t have enough cash as she ripped me off 70 rupiah. I told her to take it back but she insisted I have it and assumed that my boyfriend surfing would have money, even though I told them he doesn’t.
The other forced a bracelet on my wrist and I couldn’t get it off. She said “later you give me money, or you give me clothes.”
Whilst I waited for my boyfriend to eventually finish surfing, the ladies kept watching me. When my boyfriend finally came out the sea they hounded him aggressively and I had to end up throwing them a towel just so we could get past them.
After weeks of not coming here I finally came back so I could watch my partner surf. Again, they would not leave me alone. Every 10 minutes they pester and don’t take no for an answer. The only way to get away from them is to physically get in the sea. I’m completely done with this beach now and it’s a shame I can’t come here each morning with my boyfriend when he’s surfing the amazing waves here.
