Out of the way beach
绿碗海滩的点评
点评：A lot of steep steps to get down and back but we arrived early and had the place to ourselves for quite a while. We were sitting under an overhanging tree in front of a large cave and had a snake drop out of the tree onto our bag! When we looked up
we could see several more snakes in the tree.
The current here is very strong so I recommend only entering the water if you are a competent swimmer.
The beach itself is very small and is entirely in the shade in the afternoon. Unfortunately on the day we visited there was a lot of rubbish on the beach but to their credit the ladies selling coconuts and shell bracelets were sweeping it up.
Even worse than the snake falling next to us was the very pushy ladies trying to sell coconuts and handmade bracelets.
They said the coconuts were too heavy to carry back up all the stairs but we noticed them digging them out of the sand at the back of the cave when they arrived shortly after us 😂
They would not take a polite no for an answer and repeatedly kept coming up to us asking why we wouldn’t buy anything. They only left us alone when some other poor unsuspecting tourists arrived.
There is a second cave which liked like a temple too.
