Best experience on our 7 day Alaskan Cruise

点评：If you’re in Alaska and thinking of doing one thing—make it a trip with Captain TJ. Hands down the best experience we had on our entire cruise. His boat is practically parked next to the Norwegian Bliss, so we didn’t have to wander around with confused cruise passengers or get hit with that fishy port smell wafting off other people’s “authentic experiences.”
This was my 12-year-old’s first time fishing, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We booked a half-day charter and landed two gorgeous king salmon. Not only did Captain TJ help us reel them in like pros (OK, more like very enthusiastic amateurs), but he also took care of everything—they were filleted, frozen, and shipped straight to our doorstep back home in 1-pound vacuum-sealed packages. No smuggling fish through TSA. No stinking up the stateroom.
Captain TJ clearly knows his stuff—he’s got the nice boat, the knowledge, and the kind of calm confidence that makes you feel like you’ve been fishing with him for years. Friendly, professional, and just a good dude to spend a few hours with on the water. We drive about 15 miles out and knew where the prized king salmon was biting. We even saw a couple humpback whales!
Truly the highlight of our entire Alaska trip. Thank you, Captain TJ. You made a memory for our family that we’ll never forget.
