A Fantastic Day with Captain Mark!

点评：Captain Mark was on time, prepared, and waiting for us to arrive.
He gave a detailed safety brief while we were coasting in the no wake zone out to the Intracoastal Waterway. We made our way down the ICW and crossed the inlet, all while he described what we were passing. We quickly arrived at our destination to find wild horses waiting for us. We watched them meander down the beach and then walked down a path further into the island,where we crossed a flooded area (its not usually flooded, thanks Hurricane Erin!) and continued to the beach where we found an abundance of beautiful shells! We spent a good amount of time just enjoying the beach and being amazed at the knowledge Captain Mark passed on. He described all the types of shells we found, and gave us great information about the horses themselves as well. We even spotted more horses on our trek back across the island to the boat! After setting off for the marina, we enjoyed the sights around Beaufort and were treated to a show by a dolphin family. Itbreally was a fantastic trip and we would gladly sail with Captain Mark again! Already thinking of when we can make the trip down next time.
