点评：You definitely need to reserve your timed tickets online prior to your intended visit day as they are frequently sold out and they do not sell same day tickets. It is very convenient to take public transportation from Zurich as the bus drops you off only about a 1/2 block away.
Go early as the crowd builds. Note that you are required to lock your big bags, backpacks in a complimentary locker. Please remember your code # but if you forget it, get hold of a staff member at the front desk to assist!!
It is a self-guided tour taking you on a journey to explain how chocolate is grown and processed. There are a lot of visuals that accompany the reading which is very well-put together. Allow yourself at least 1- 1 1/2 hours to walk through the presentations.
Save your ticket as when the self-guided tour ends, scan it for a surprise treat waiting for you.
Also, there is a selfie-station that is located after the last exhibit. You can send the photo to yourself. There are five different samples of Lindt truffles available for all guests to try (one per person) at the very end.
After visiting the Lindt Home of Chocolate Museum, I truly understand why chocolate can become so expensive to purchase.
There is also a cafe in the premises in the event that you are interested to grab a drink or quick meal when you begin/end your self-guided tour. There are inside/outside seatings available. Don't forget to visit the huge Gift Shop before departing. You won't be able to leave without a small chocolate purchase! Definitely recommend a side excursion here if you can plan in advance-- a highlight of your Zurich visit!!
