点评：We had sucha wonderful time at Casa Ana Birding, it's hard to describe with words how much we recommend birdwatchers to come here. Our room was comfortable and clean. The hospitality of the family is amazing. The breakfast, for 5 USD per person, per day, was so delicious and so filling that we were never able to finish everything. We did two full-day expeditions with Adrien and his son, starting early in the morning and ending late in the evening, with breaks during the mid-day. Our goal was to see all the Cuban endemic birds we could see in the Zapata region. Adrien and his son went above and beyond to help us accomplish that goal which we succeeded at! We traveled around the region by motorcycle because it's easier to get to narrow trails (though you also have the option to travel by car). From the Zapata Wren to the Cuban Parakeet, we saw all 20 of the endemic birds we could see in the region! We would joke with Adrien that he is a bird magician and that he would call the birds we were looking for in advance to make sure they would appear when we arrived at the target location. He knows exactly where and when to find the birds. Of course, just the garden at Casa Ana Birding is incredible. Within the first minute, we saw a few Bee Hummingbirds. We were very grateful for our unforgettable experience with Adrien and his family.
