点评:I think what makes this place unique is not just the views, or it's beauty, but the fact that you really need to plan ahead to be able to visit it - I have checked the links for the low tide/high tide schedule and then also called the local tourism center to make sure we aren't coming here for nothing - as I can see otherwise this is not the same :)
To be able to cross that "underwater pathway" felt quite surreal - seeing it from both side even more, I actually recalled now that we promised ourselves to look up videos of it when the tide is high so the area from that perspective - it's almost impossible to believe that this area can change so drastically, but that's what I had noticed all over Scotland, the tides are sooooo different than anywhere else (maybe Alaska coming to my mind as well).
Once on the actual "island" you can wander around, check out the views - unfortunately in late April 2026 no puffins yet, barely any birds at all to be honest but still a beautiful place to visit!
Be careful while exploring the area after the water goes away, even though the rocks appear dry they are very slippery from various vegetation that is not that well visible to a naked eye
TIP: huge minus of this place.... no restrooms!!! while parking is fairly small and there are even picnic tables there is simply nowhere to use a restroom and that was quite a bummer as coming here from the brewery.... well let put it this way, plan accordingly!!
