点评：It’s hard to put into words how wonderful and impactful it was to spend 5 days with Danila walking in the steps our father took during the Italian Campaign of WWII from September 1943 to February 1944. She spent months researching and planning our trip and that paid off big with an epic hike up Monte Rotundo to begin our journey. We visited museums, landing beaches, roadside memorials, remote valleys where rivers were crossed and battles were fought. It was emotional. It was immersive. It was everything. She truly is a gem and has an incredible wealth of knowledge of history, religion, and, most specifically, WWII.
In addition, she is a food and wine guide. We were treated to some amazing meals and wine. And we spent 3 days in Rome with Danila to end our trip, where she is also a licensed guide. I cannot recommend Danila highly enough! It was a true gift to have her lead us on this journey.
