点评：Our guide was Ariana. She was very personable and knowledgeable. She had lived in the canyon in the summers as a child and her family has land there. We went to several stops including White House and other petroglyph sites. Her family’s land is by Antelope House and we were able to walk around the land. Her mom makes fry bread and coffee. Her family sells jewelry and Navajo pottery at the site.
The jeep was comfortable with heating or air conditioning. The top could be removed. The jeep is tall but there is a step that our guide could bring if necessary to get in and out. Remember you are off road. You drive down the wash through the canyon with beautiful canyon walls on both sides. We saw horses, a donkey, mule deer, a coyote and a goat. There are sites to stop at bathrooms on the tour.
We highly recommend the 4 hour tour. 3 hours would not have been enough.
