More Than a Tour in Canyon de Chelly

点评：I really don’t know how to fully convey our extraordinary experience with Leander Staley and our five-hour odyssey through Canyon de Chelly. We could easily have spent another five hours with him—and still wanted more.
Leander catered to our particular interests, as he will do with you, sharing stories and his vast knowledge of Navajo, Anasazi, ancient Puebloan, Hopi, and other Native American peoples’ history, along with the canyon’s geography and more recent history. More than that, he brought the canyon to life in a way that made it feel personal, not just historical. It felt less like a tour and more like an invitation into a deeper understanding of the canyon.
Leander is the great-grandson of Chauncey Neboyia, who worked for over 60 years with the National Park Service as an archaeologist, consultant, interpreter, tour guide, and narrator for major film companies. It’s clear that Chauncey’s legacy lives on through Leander and Beauty Way Jeep Tours.
When we return to Canyon de Chelly, we will absolutely book another tour with Beauty Way.
