Fantastic staff and a great round. Will be back!

点评：My dad and I dropped into Lanzarote golf to look around and maybe use the range. After a chat with the very friendly staff we decided to book a round.
As other people mention it's not cheap, 18 holes, with rented clubs and a buggy was €300, but we're on holiday why not? We arrived the next morning and were greeted by great staff again. The caddy pro chatted to us to understand our play. And while we went to pay the balance and pick up bits from the pro shop he got everything set up for us.
On return the buggy was ready 2 sets of clubs (one lefty), mostly Taylor made sim2. We each had a driver, 5 wood and 4 hybrid. As well as 5-Sw irons.
They also provided a few tees each and some bottles of water in a cooler on the cart, a really nice touch.
As other reviews note the hire clubs are battle-scared. But once you hit the course you quickly realised why. As soon as you drift off (the very wide) fairways you're into volcanic stone, which will quickly damage the underside of any clubs! Despite the visuals the clubs played very well!
The course is well kept, very green fairways. The grass is different to what we have at home, no way you'd get fine sports grass to grow on a volcano! Greens are good, challenging and you quickly get used to how the grass plays.
The holes vary dramatically, some short hops where you can see the green. And other holes where you can see about 50 yards before the course disappears over a crest. Did my drive hit the fairway or ping into the volcanic rock? (It was the rock 🤣)
Return to the clubhouse after 18 the staff were just as friendly and interested to hear of our morning on the course.
