Great museum, DO ring the bell and wait !

点评：I was not sure what to expect when we added this to our list of places on our 2026 holiday, but I am so pleased we did come here.
The actual radio aerial is massive and was the tallest wooden structure when it was made, in the 1930's and today 90 years later the tower is still being used, and is still looking in great condition, being made by the really tough wood, Larch, it is likely to last well into the 100 year lifetime.
I will add that finding the door to the museum, is not easy, there are no signs that point you in the right direction, but to advise, if the tower is to the back of you, the door to museum is to the right of the building right in front of you. You do need to ring the bell to be allowed in.
Once in, the very pleasant lady gave us an English language leaflet and then took us to the room where the equipment is located, and offered to put on a video, it is in Polish, but it had English subtitles, so easy to watch, and to be honest, those minutes of education, taught us both far more than we were already aware of, it is of no surprise that the Germans lied and killed to get their way, and then try to blame the Poles for the incident, but they screwed up, thankfully, and no one believed them, two days later, the second world war was declared.
The only downside, if there is one, the grounds in which the tower is set, seems to have been left to go to ruin, overgrown weeds everywhere, which is a shame, it could be a lovely location, let down by this - the buildings that the museum is set in, could also do with a bit of a tarting up, especially the windows, that look so rotten, such a shame. But a great museum nonetheless.

唯一的不足之处（如果非要说有什么不足的话）是塔楼所在的场地似乎已经荒废了，到处杂草丛生，真是可惜。这里本来可以是一个很美的地方，可惜被破坏了。博物馆所在的建筑也需要修缮一下，尤其是那些看起来破败不堪的窗户，真是令人惋惜。但无论如何，这都是一家很棒的博物馆。
