"Rome more, worry less." Caron made it happen.

点评：It is rare these days to be surprised by graciousness and beneficence of others. Caron McConnon managed to surprise my family by being so much more than a tour guide for a day in Rome. She will be considered a friend forever.
We relied on her experience to craft a full day in Rome that would be enjoyable for our family - needing to satisfy the energy of our daughters (mid 20's), provide wheelchair accessibility and understand the limitations of two 80 yr olds. She planned perfectly. Highlights included a tour of the Coliseum, photos of my daughters jumping on a random stranger's Vespa to pose by a fountain (Caron obtained permission), the views from the top of Castel Sant' Angelo and sharing wine and a meal seated at a farmhouse-style table set under a garden canopy.
When Caron heard that some of our luggage had been lost by our airline, she did what very few others would. Caron called the airlines (communicating much easier than we were able because of language barriers) to track the bags and then offered to drive my family members to the airport to pick up bags we thought were arriving at 10pm. Honestly, that's amazing. We found out the bags were delayed so she flexed the tour to allow for some shopping which was much needed and appreciated.
We left Rome for a cruise but Caron kept working to retrieve our suitcase and had it delivered to our hotel for our return to Rome.
We will always be grateful for a wonderful tour and the reminder that serving others with kindness can leave such an impact.
