A Fantastic Day out for the whole family
Raglan Castle的点评
点评：We arrived on a very very hot day. I all my years of travelling past Raglan, I have never stopped to visit as we're always going somewhere else, We live near Tenby, West Wales. This weekend was a chance to stop and visit. The Castle is in Very good condition, for its age. We enjoyed staggering around in the hot weather and we were very impressed with the Harris Hawk man who kept appearing in different locations giving various different talks about birds, golf and Mantle pieces. ( you need to see the show)
Parking was very easy, it's literally outside the gate to get in. Facilities did seem to be lacking. Toilets were down a short flight of stairs followed by a walk across the green,
Café, not on site. A very nice Man & Daughter Pig in a Bun were making fab sausage baps right by reception. They were delicious and very inexpensive.
I just wish we had know he was there before we went to the,
OVERPRICED CAFE NEXT DOOR.
The Café has nothing to do with the castle apart from it's in a farm courtyard next to the castle. I cannot find a review page for them. They would get one star. overpriced and slow service, we got food eventually followed by drinks.
To Sum Up. Visit the Castle as soon as you can. Don't visit café, expensive and NO TOILETS.
Do Buy from the Pop Up Gazebo selling fantastic Sausage Baps and drinks

We went to Simmonds Yat and had a river cruise after.

这家咖啡馆除了位于城堡旁边的农场庭院里之外，和城堡本身没有任何关系。我找不到任何关于他们的评价页面。如果可以的话，我只能给他们一颗星。价格过高，服务也很慢，我们好不容易才吃到东西，饮料也是先上来的。
总而言之，尽快去参观城堡吧。千万别去咖啡馆，价格贵，而且没有厕所。
一定要去临时搭建的凉亭买些香肠卷和饮料，味道棒极了。

之后我们去了西蒙兹亚特，还乘船游览了河流。
