Minnis Bay Beach的点评
点评：Old family connections with Minnis Bay, and many memories of being a child from Africa coming to UK for school and spending holidays here. In many ways unspoilt except for the proliferation of food outlets around the old sailing club area. Notorious cabbage fields (very smelly!) now built on and the cabbage smell is replaced by rotting seaweed and sewage. Just disgusting, the seaweed smell is natural and was always present…the sewage is a result of discharging into the sea and is a relatively new activity. Come on Thanet, sort out the greedy water utilities. Minnis Bay is sadly pretty unpleasant now.
Always time your visit according to tide table. Choose an ebbing tide, a rising tide can come across the flat beach pretty fast.
Very few blue badge parking spots.
The Minnis restaurant is pooch friendly in the bar.
No dogs on the beach in summer except if you walk west.
