珠海御温泉渡假村的点评
点评：What do I do with one day off in Zhuhai? Fortunately I stumbled across this hot spring resort on the internet. I bought a ticket online with Trip.com, cost about £17, then a taxi from Zhuhai city cost about £10. The taxi ride was about 50mins.
I would describe this place as a hot spring theme park. It is styled on a Japanese hot spring town. There are dozens of hot spring pools to try out, a hotel, and places to buy food and gifts.
It has mixed gender bathing, and you must wear a swimsuit. But if you didn't bring one you can borrow one for free in the change area. You also get sandals and towels for free.
All over the resort you can pick up a new towel, and there are free drinks and snacks available. Massage services cost extra.
I spent about 2 hours trying out the different pools, constantly drinking different flavoured teas. I was there on a Sunday morning, and there were enough people so that there were one or two people in each pool. It was mostly families with young kids and couples. I wouldn't say it was overly busy.
There is a sauna in the changing area (separate men and women).
Getting a taxi back to Zhuhai was no problem.
If you like this sort of thing, I would definitely recommend going if you are in the area.
