点评：Vatican Chapels are not for everyone - there is so much to see in Venice but if of interest worth the vaporetto ride
Much easier to book than 20 years ago when these were not here. We booked online on the same day.
A quick tour of chapels/areas to sit quietly in shaded gardens. Good to avoid the crowds, though the chapels were designed for individual prayer/reflection so the group will fill them and it is necessary to take turns to see each chapel.
The chapels have been designed by various architects around the world. One has a very narrow doorway - most of our group had to go through sideways. It wouldn’t be an issue for people from that country - the norm is smaller.
Don’t expect it to be a spiritual journey - it’s too quick.
You are given an audio guide and the guide takes you around. Understandable given the languages they’d need to know.
The route is over grassed areas and there are slight ups and downs not always on the made up paths. Not generally a consideration but may be an issue for those with knee issues or who’ve found all the steps and bridges more than expected.
