The Best way to experience the British Virgin Islands is from a crewed catamaran!

点评：My wife and I and two of our best friends booked a one-week crewed cruise with Voyage Charter for the first week of July, 2025. This was our first experience with Voyage; 30 years ago, my wife and I had done a similar trip with the Moorings and it has been on our bucket list to do again.
The four of us could not have been happier with the entire week. Our crew, Captain Brett and Chef Jessica, were simply wonderful. It started with phone calls from both about 2 weeks before - Jessica to discuss food likes and dislikes, any dietary allergies, adult beverage preferences, and menu planning and Brett to go over the itinerary we had previously submitted to Voyage and make recommendations on places we had not included. Jessica's cooking was spot on for what we requested and absolutely delicious and Brett's itinerary additions turned out to be some of our favorite anchorages.
Our catamaran was a Voyage 480. Although it was an older boat that showed a little wear, it was immaculately clean and Jessica and Brett kept it that way all week, including making up our beds ever morning. Even though the boat is nearing the end of its charter life, there were no amenities missing from it that took away from our enjoyment of the trip. We got to tour the much newer, larger, and modernly appointed Voyage 590 and hope to return in 2027 with a few more couples to share that boat with. Either that or the soon to be available 510 that you can see on Voyage's website.
The AVI's and BVI's are my wife and my favorite places to vacation, and we have stayed at numerous wonderful resorts and rented fantastic villas on a bunch of the islands. However, there is no doubt that the best way to enjoy the BVI's is on the water in a beautiful boat with a fantastic crew. A 5-star sailing resort that takes you to locations not accessible to pedestrians or cars. And sunsets on the boat deck every night with a chilled glass of champagne ain't a tough way to end the day!
