点评：I found the experience of visiting the home of one of the most remarkable and incomparable figures in history very exciting. The rustic homeliness of the farmhouse and its charming gardens aided the imagination required to picture the young Isaac Newton, pottering about, forming theories, setting up experiments and generally failing to excel at farming. The house is furnished in a style contemporary to Newton's residence and a number of artefacts of his pursuits can be seen around the place. There are also a number of informative boards to read. But the best way to find out about the property and Newton is to ask one of the several excellent volunteers, who are keen to share their extensive knowledge.
The surrounding garden and countryside are the beautiful icing on the cake.
There is also a very nice little cafe with reasonably priced snacks and drinks and Aa gift shop, selling Newton related items, including several books on his life and works.
