Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action的点评
点评：My husband and I did the 1:30pm quad bike ride with Dave, who was amazing. It was great because it ended up being just the two of us, so we were able to tailor it to our expectations. Dave was patient, knowledgeable (not just on the bikes but about Kangaroo Island and wildlife), and it was about exploring the Island, rather than just about quad biking which was different to some other quad bike experiences we have done. We managed a decent go on the bikes on some great terrain from easy to more challenging, which was really fun, all while checking out what Kangaroo Island scenery and bushland had to offer.
Bikes were semi-auto and you had an orientation session before heading out.
Included in the cost, you get a head bandana to wear inside the helmet which was good, especially if you get the "ick" when wearing a helmet that has been worn by multiple people. You also get some gloves to borrow. It's mandatory to wear long pants, but if you forget, they do have some spare ones. Closed shoes obviously.
Although we went in the middle of the day, because we were by the ocean, it was still cool but you do need to lather up on the sunscreen on your arms as you do get burnt.
Overall, was definitely one of the main highlights to our first visit to Kangaroo Island and would do it again.
One last thing to note, we almost had a dilemma where we almost didn't make it over to KI and would have missed this experience with no refund but Viator and KI Outdoor Action were so helpful in considering our situation and although the cancellation period had expired, they were willing to refund us but thankfully, we made it over and didn't need to cancel BUT we had to change our time slot which they didn't charge us for.
