点评:This is a very green park with tons of trees and greenery. Overall, it is very quiet. It's quite large and there were a number of unoccupied sites on the weekend we stayed. Bathrooms are very clean and spacious. The showers, though, are standard small campground showers. Dishes can be washed in the outdoor sinks and the water is nice and hot.
Section B is generator-free.
The malady head hike leaves from the campground, through a forest and onto a great lookout, worth the hike in. There are roots along the way and no lookouts until the top but the trail is nestled within a forest and feels quite cozy with the soft ground underneath.
There are no electrical sites here. Sites 1-9 surround a playground and there were many kids in that area playing and riding bikes.
I looked at some sites that were large and was surprised that on the booking website for Parks Canada, they were allocated for tents only. Then I saw some sites that were tiny or on an incline that were designated for equipment up to 27 feet. That didn't make sense to me.
There is hiking in Salvage, a quaint village at the end of highway 310.We climbed up to Net Point, Burden's Point and Round Head. There were rocks which were slippery because it was wet out but nothing too difficult. Other than that it was roots and short boardwalks. Trails were well-signed. Also in that village is a delightful museum called The Fisherman's Museum.
