Not cheap thrills

点评：We did a morning tubing down the little Mulgrave river. This activity is great for people who don’t like thrills or have a high desire for adventure. Whilst it was relaxing it was also a little boring. There were a few rapids to go down which the guides were conscious about participants safety. One of the employees had set the equipment up prior to our arrival and “mooned” the staff in our bus as it approached. This was noticed and discussed by a number of participants as they travelled down the river. We had the option to bring out own shoes or to hire suitable shoes, shoe hire was $5 and the shoes which were like the croc brand were old couldn’t be done up due to wear and tear. We were informed about car accidents on the road in and witnessed vehicles that had crashed minutes before we pasted. The irony was on the way out the staff seemed to be in a hurry and the there was heavy braking and corners navigated where the driver was asked to slow down for passenger safety. We were motivated to support local businesses but for the asking price we won’t do this again.
