Overrated and overpriced

点评：We went to Slaley for an overnight spa stay. On arriving we were told two therapists had rang in sick and we could only have half hour treatment but would have a partial refund. The Spa is a leisure club, definitely not a Spa.The pool area was full of children who were allowed in from 8-12 and then most of the afternoon/evening. There were empty beds with towels on them so we couldn’t use them. Not what you want on a relaxing spa day. Food in restaurant was dreadful, had to send steaks back twice, frozen veg, rock hard Nan bread. We were told they would not charge for meals and put 2 rounds of drinks behind the bar, this was at 21:55. They then closed the bar at 22:20 and offered only a bottle service which only included lager and cider. The next day they would only take the price of one meal off thetotal bill. We complained to the Duty Manager (Alex) before checking out, he sat with us and took notes yet we are still waiting for a response over two weeks later. This was not a voucher stay, we paid full price. So disappointing
