Clubhouse served poor quality food, with top quality view

点评：This is a review of the food in the clubhouse.
The location is perfect, with the clubhouse looking straight down the fairways all the was along the links.
Windows all on that side, so everyone has a view.
The service is friendly, but not finessed in any way.
I had sausages in red wine & onion gravy with mash. My meal was incredibly poor, with poor quality ingredients, poor cooking & poor presentation. The sausages were not fresh butcher sausages as I had expected (not because they were decarived as such, but simply because it's a restaurant and I expected better quality). They were cheap, smooth, bland sausages, like the kind you would find in batter at a chip shop, or on a kids menu. The onion gravy was watery, with no taste of meat or red wine, with a few slices of boiled onion in it. I expected caramelised onion to be delivering a rich gravy. The mash was a stodgy, solid lump it was all served in a small soup bowl, probably to contain the very watery gravy.
My friend had cajun pasta, which she said was pleasant enough, but was very bland, lacking any flavour other than just 'creaminess'.
My other friends had fish and chips and were both happy with theirs.
My apple crumble has a greasy, brown, flat crust on top, which did not resemble a crumble- maybe they don't know how to make it? And it tasted overwhelmingly of cinnamon. The 'creme anglaise' as it is described on the menu, was shop bought custard. Not homemade, and tasted like school dinners.
I can't believe this is what you are serving visitors, on a worldwide platform such as this.

真不敢相信你们在这样一个全球平台上为游客提供这样的服务。
