点评：We got to go to a Christmas concert here in December 2024 and had a good evening here. We enjoyed everything from the coat check to the theatre itself. Large portions of the show were in Norwegian so we did not understand everything but we did enjoy the performance, musicianship and they did sing a few songs in English. The performers came out during the intermission to take photos with patrons.
The theatre operation is very efficient and you can make reservations for food and drinks before intermission and several people choose this option at this theatre which is very impressive. They have quite a few walk up cafes and bars as well that provide quick service. They had quite a few coat checks too so it made it easy to get in and when the performance is over the ushers are quick to guide people out.
The theatre is located along Karl Johan Gate and there was the Christmas Market just to the east and the Royal Palace area to the northwest. There are lots of good restaurants and shops nearby in this popular area.
